I was reluctant to watch this, due to the lack of common sense in most TV shows nowadays
Tale
When maple syrup farmer Ruth Landry finds her livelihood under attack by greedy competitors who were once her friends, she concocts a scheme to exact revenge and shake up the industry.. Loosely based on the 2011-2012 theft of $18 million worth of maple syrup from a storage facility in Quebec; five people were sentenced to jail..
Likeable characters and light entertainment
But I’m glad I gave it a go. These are 30 min episodes that are goofy, cheesy, funny, dramatic and engaging.
A couple of cliffhangers to end the series nicely
Watched all 6 episodes and I’m looking forward to a season 2. I’d recommend checking this out and it’s a perfect runtime that fits perfectly into a half hour show.
The French soundtrack is engaging too
Any longer and it would have dragged on. I'm going to look for it on YouTube music.
